Lucerna was great. Alex made nice clear, crispy and loud sound, Filip made superb lights and you, our audience, made us feel good on stage. Drain started it all with hi-energy rocknroll, Kill The Dandies were just amazing and for us and those of you who stayed, Steve Morell played electric set making (not just) me shaking the ass. I spent some time at the bar and on the dance-floor and ended up with Alex and Steve Morell in the morning at Zero bar. Wasted of course.

Anyway. I managed to keep my red jacket on for the whole concert without sudden death caused by overheating. I saw my friends dancing. I saw a bra flying in the air. Fine. Your reaction to Hometown Zombie, the song written for the second album we played for the first time in Prague, was great according to what I heard and it definitely increased our euphoria. Looking forward to play more new songs for you soon!

Bono, where art thou?

It’s good to have a chance to contribute to some charity/public interest event, especially when it’s not already occupied by Bono. Tomorrow we go to Pilsen to appear on the gig supporting Člověk v tísni organization and the “Anti-debt-day” supporting the idea of decreasing or wiping out the debts for the extremely poor countries. It’s going to be also the first concert with Kill The Dandies!, foregoing to 2nd of April at Lucerna Music Bar (next wednesday).

After a very long time we’ll come back in our set-list to the basics of The Prostitutes and we will perform also some brand new stuff.

We also added a date in Ústí na Labem. For the first time we are going to play in Mumie club, well known for the enlightenment & education nights hosted by our friend Slap You Plastics. The concert is dedicated to the first run of the Anton Corbijn’s film Control in the local cinema. Melodramatic version of this famous Manchester story seems to be pretty opposite to 24 hour party people, nut after some really mixed reviews, the film is getting popular especially among the Joy Division fans. We still didn’t see it trying to keep our minds open before we do so. We start after the film.

Lucerna Music Bar on April 2nd. As you may already know, we are going to raise a furious club night, the only one in the capitol city for this Spring. We will play some new songs from upcoming album we are currently working on as well as some real oldies. For the overall riot well prepared and planned in advance (start by r’n'r garage band Drain) we called the strongest fellows: Kill The Dandies! The maniac band born from the ashes of The Nihilists and The Bodywounds. But here are the news: We can also proudly announce that Steve Morell accepted our invitation for the final extermination. A Berliner who brought to Czech fans bands like Warren Suicide or Mignon, a key persona of Pale Music Int., will contribute to this evening with his smashing DJ set! Victims welcome, folks!

After having changed the date and location several times (which in fact created many rumors) we are pleased to announce our spring Prague gig. It will take place in Lucerna Music Bar on April 2nd. We do our best to make it a big show with a lot of surprise. We are proud to share the stage with Kill The Dandies!, a strong and pervading new act formed of great musicians (La Petite Sonja, Hank J. Manchini, Richard Fischer, Wratislav Placheta, Zdenek Rudol) and Drain, a young energetic r’n'r band from the South.

So don’t forget to book April 2nd in your diaries, you won’t regret!
